MUSD students are having a blast this week at our Spring Leadership Camps with ANEW Project!

Oasis Elementary School 5th grade students have been hard at work on their Wax Museum projects, showcasing influential Black figures throughout history. This week, they presented to lower-grade students, parents and even city council members!

This week the MUSD is participating in the Great Kindness Challenge with a special Kindness week. Counselors at sites across the District are leading spirit weeks, kindness challenges and more. Check in with you site to see how you can participate!

Happy New Year MUSD. We hope you're having a great start to 2025! As a reminder, Monday is a staff development day and classes will be back in session on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Check out these awesome highlights from last weeks SBAC Carnivals! We love celebrating student achievment. A big shout out to ANEW Project for putting on this event. More photos can be found at https://www.anewproject.tv/musd

Welcome to the 24/25 school year! We’ll see you all on Aug. 12

Adventure is calling! Oasis Elementary School students have been learning all about our local natural wonders through the special grant-funded Adventure Calling program with JTree this year. The program includes field trips into the National Park, a native garden at the school-site, outdoor learning and more.
Last Friday two of the sixth grade classes presented skits on some of the things they've learned so far this year.

Oasis Elementary School families had an amazing opportunity last night to participate in a special night sky viewing event.
This event was put on by Joshua Tree Residential Education Experience as part of a larger grant-funded effort to provide outdoor education to the Bobcats. The event shuttled families from the school to the local Sky's the Limit Observatory for a special program about our beautiful night skies. Thank you Joshua Tree Residential Education Experience for providing this opportunity for our families!
