August 9, 2025 – Twentynine Palms, CA
Palm Vista Elementary School was buzzing with energy and excitement on the evening of August 8th as families gathered for the annual Back-to-School Night. With a large turnout of students, parents, and staff, the event set a positive tone for the 2025–2026 school year.
Organized and run by the school’s newly formed Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), along with dedicated parent volunteers, the evening featured fun, connection, and a strong sense of community. Kids laughed and played in the sprinklers to cool off on the hot summer evening, while parents met with teachers and got a glimpse of their children's classrooms.
Generous donations from local supporters—including Stater Bros., Costco, and Mojave's Creations—helped make the event a success. Mojave's Creations also debuted the school’s brand-new swag, which was a hit among students and parents alike.
The night also served as a warm welcome to Palm Vista’s newest educators: Ms. Monroe, who joins from nearby Condor Elementary, and Mrs. Bolon, who recently relocated from Yucca Valley. A proud Marine wife originally from Nebraska, Mrs. Bolon brings both heart and dedication to the Palm Vista community.
With smiles all around and a strong turnout, Palm Vista’s Back-to-School Night was more than just an event—it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and new beginnings.
