Students, parent teacher conferences will be held Wednesday, October 29, from 12:30-4pm.

The library will be closed all day tomorrow, Oct 23rd and Friday, Oct. 24th.  Students, this includes both lunches as well.

Juniors! It's that time again to apply for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. RYLA is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts during which you develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections. Check your email or come to Counseling office to see Ms. Happy for the application. The deadline to submit applications is December 19.

Blue Federal Survey cards are due to the front office. Please turn these important surveys in at your earliest convenience. Students who do not turn them in will be called to the principal’s office.

The next Saturday School is October 25. If you need to clear absences or tardies to make sure you get credit for your classes, attending Saturday School is a great way to earn back time. One day of Saturday School clears one day of absence. Sign Up in the Attendance Office!

Our school will be hosting a Gothic Poetry Slam on October 23 at 5pm, and we’re looking for performers to help make it amazing! If you’re interested, please email Ms. Crow at jcrow@morongousd.org, or stop by H3 for more info. Don’t miss your chance to share your voice and your poetry!

True Colors, the Gay Straight Alliance, is meeting on Thursday in V-2 after school. Everyone is welcome.

French Club is now happening in room V1, on Tuesdays and Thursday from 2-4pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

It’s one of life’s biggest questions — what happens after we die? Are you confident you know the answer? Come explore life, faith, and what the Bible says about eternity at New Life Club — a safe, welcoming space to ask big questions and discover real answers. Wednesdays at Lunch. First Lunch – Mrs. Nicholson’s room (L-9). Second Lunch – Mr. Wali’s room (G-3). Everyone is welcome — bring your questions, bring a friend, and come as you are!

SENIORS - The FAFSA Application is open. This is how you can receive financial aid to help pay for college or trade schools. Remember to launch your FAFSA application from California Colleges App in Clever.  There is a button that says "Launch FAFSA" right above the lessons.  If you have any troubles launching the FAFSA please see Mrs. Kelley, your College & Career Advisor. 

Seniors! 2026 California Retired Teachers Association - Scholarship application is open now! This scholarship is for seniors who plan to attend Copper Mountain College. The award is $1,000. Check your Synergy email or come to counseling office and see Ms. Happy for an application! Deadline is April 17, 2026!

The 25-26 Fall ASVAB test will be held on November 4, 2025. To sign-up, please see Ms. Happy in the Counseling Office or check your synergy email for more information.

Seniors: the 2026 Elks Most Valuable Student application is now open! Awards are between $500 to $2000 for local, and more for state! Deadline is November 12, 2025. Check your Synergy email or see Ms. Happy for information.

SPORTS:

October 28 there will be a parent meeting in the lecture hall, for all parents of students that want to wrestle for the high school this year!

Wrestling practice will be every day after school in the wrestling room starting this week.

Girls Tennis competed in their last home match Monday against Indio, fighting hard against the Rajahs. In singles, Kambria Henry won a match 6-3, and Shelby Rich won 6-2. In doubles, Sophia Stanley and Meadow More won 6-4. Today, they travel to compete in CIF Finals. Wish them luck!
