Seniors, the time to submit Senior Quotes to yearbook is here! Check your synergy email with a link to the Google form. You must be logged into your school Gmail. Upload personality pictures, shout out friends, and share memories to be used in this year’s yearbook. The final date Senior Quotes can be submitted is Monday, February 2. If you miss the deadline, it will be too late.
Students: Don't forget to turn in your PRIDE tickets in F5 to be entered into the monthly raffle for a free lunch from Castenedas! There will be one winner per grade!
Final call for permission slips to attend the Jazz at the Lincoln Center field trip taking place on February 18th. Permission slips can be grabbed in L6 with Mrs. Hinzman and need to be returned by February 4th.
Seniors, if you paid for a Senior package at orientation and have not filled out a Grad Nite permission slip yet, you must do so to be able to participate in Grad Nite. Permission slips can be picked up in ASB office. No refunds will be given after the event has been paid for.
Trojans, join ASB for a night out at Acrisure Arena Friday, January 30, to watch the Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team take the ice. A portion of each ticket sold will go back to the school as a fundraiser. Find a QR code around campus to buy your tickets today.
Our next Saturday School is scheduled for Saturday, February 7. Saturday School is an excellent way for students to recoup absences, get off the no go list as well as use the time to catch up on any missing work. One session of Saturday School clears one full absence. Please sign up with the Attendance Office to reserve your spot.
Music Club will meet in room H-1 after school on Thursday.
SPORTS:
Last Saturday, January 24, was the individual wrestling league finals tournament. YVHS qualified 11 girls and 12 boys for the CIF individual tournament, with 8 league champions. Girls league champions at their weight class are Michelle Rialmo, Amanda Miranda, Leann Rocha, Jewel Brunch, and Chanelle Gephart. Boys league champions at their weight class are Mariano Ramirez, Bryan Minsky, and Jesse Wilson.
Congratulations to the Girls Wrestling league Champions! The marks the 5th straight season that the girls are league champions and unbeaten in league duals for 5 straight years.

Attention for all who want to join the swim team. The last day to join is this Thursday, January 29. If you want to join, talk with Coach Weiss in F-2 tomorrow. All of those who are currently in spring sports, please go see Coach Weiss if you still want to join the swim team. The roster is being finalized.
